Since stepping into the Nashville scene in 2019, Monica has made a name for herself as a singer-songwriter. Her latest record Night School is an exploration of adolescence into adulthood. It captures the journey of a wide-eyed girl setting out into the world on her own for the first time, and finding out that people aren’t all that they seem. Night School explores the juxtaposition of Monica's tender heart colliding with difficult truths about love and friendship, and what emerges on the other side: a wiser woman who isn’t so terrified to use her voice anymore.
